Default I'm Glad Austin Left The Show

That little boy who was Debbie Allen's son on the show was ugly & nerdy lookin. Isn't that him who says in the house on the theme song for the first season? It sounds like his voice.

I guess he left because Debbie Allen was gone and it would not have made sense for her character to leave such a young child behind with LL. Dee Jay Daniels, the young actor who played Michael Hughley on the Hughleys was a regular for like 3 episodes right after that. His name even appeared in the main credits. He was a smart mouthed neighbor, but I suppose they figured they didn't need a kid on the show (they really didn't) and Max acted like a big kid anyway so that made up for the void.

Default the last season

The last 6 shows were aired in the middle of the night on NBC in 1999. What is the story behind that? They went back to their old network, Maia and Kim Wayans were gone and Joan Pringle showed up in a couple stories as LL's nanna. She is too young to be LL's grandma. They could have cast her as his adoptive mother but not grandma. Clifton Davis was her fiance. Kenya Moore was LL's new lady and T from the Parkers and a young woman were also around as LL's new tenants.

Who is Joan Pringle? I don't remember her. LL's new lady was Paulette Braxton. He married her on the last episode. They grew up together in Queens, NY on the show. She moved in with him at Debbie Allen's house after Debbie & Austin moved out. Paulette is hot & dudes be sleepin on her. She played on The Parkers as a regular as Stanley Ogilvie's woman Veronica. I really would like to know what Maia Campbell is doing right now. She's so hot. It's no excuse for her to have disappeared from acting all of a sudden unless she found another career.

Hey Isiah:

Joan Pringle was Ms Buchanan the principal/assistant principal on The White Shadow (great show). She was also in the soap opera Generations. She was in her thirties during White Shadow in the late 70s so she's too young to be LL's grandma. Maia was in a movie with the guy who played Kenny on the Cosby Show. It was a HS comedy called Trippin from about 3-4 years back. I notice often actors in their late teens early 20s drop out of sight for a while. I assume that they are going to college.

I know who you're talkin about now. I didn't know Joan Pringle was her real name. I don't remember her being LL's grandma. I saw Trippin movie with Maia Campbell, Guy Torry, Donald Faison. That was a alright movie. Guy Torry is a funny dude. I like him as a actor & comedian. I've seen him on Def Comedy Jam before.

Jamesanthony was right isiah, Kenya Moore was the girl Marion ended up with in the end. In those last 6 episodes that aired in the morning for ya'll Marion met Kenya's character and she had a daughter and he was kind of playing stepdad to her. I guess when Mercedes and Max got married Marion and Paulette's character decided to go their seperate ways and then her character was written out. You can go here http://www.tvtome.com/IntheHouse/season5.html and read about the last 6 episodes.

Anyway I do remember seeing those last 6 episodes, but I remember seeing them in the afternoon at 1 or 2 pm. Then I remember I was in Guam at the time and we got stuff a week behind and because of the time difference when ya'll were seeing those episodes at 1 or 2 in the morning I was seeing them a week old in the afternoon in Guam.

I'm glad they didn't make Austin a smart mouthed smart ass kid like Olivia Kendall, Michelle Tanner, and that 3J kid from Family Matters BUT he whined just a little too much. I have never known a kid who was THAT nerdy.
