Default FOX SUX!

Unfortunately we won't be getting a sixth season since Fox has cancelled the show. IMO, FOX screwed over the cast and crew with the constant time slot changes and premptions. Not to mention they barely promoted it.

Sad that they won't get a proper series finale.

Thanks for 5 great years Bernie and the whole cast and crew!

I was initially optimisitc when I saw SitcomsOnline predicition about how the could have came back on the basis of it being the only standing sitcom left. Also, one season was already on DVD and syndication reported the show was doing well in various markets. Fox put the show on Fridays to die just like they did with Wanda Sykes. Good job Bernie on at least making it to syndication and over 100. Try the CW in the future

Surprising enough he had a good run considering he was on FOX. He can move on with his career and do movies of something.

i can't believe it either. with some of the garbage being shown on television nowadays, Bernie Mac was a breath of fresh air.

FOX simply didn't know what to do with this show. Fridays just wasn't the place for it. It would have fared better on Wednesdays as it initially started out on.

The time changes really did them in.It was a good show, and I think they all have futures beyond this.Camille Winbush has really grown up to be a nice looking young lady.

The first indication that FOX was trying to push it off was putting it up against My Wife and Kids at 8 on Wednesdays in Fall 2002, many thought that show was probably going to be cancelled by the end of the season as MWAK defeated them badly in the slot.

I agree, I think it is awful the way they moved this show around and never tried to promote it.. i know why too.. It had morals, a family that loved one another... its a shame.. I loved Jordan... Such a doll! I know he will be typecast but I think he was such a cute kid and a good actor.
