hey are there any news about gidget season 2 release on dvd and if you have the season one what are some of the deleted scenes that are not shown in syndication

Their is no Gidget season 2. Gidget only had one season.

...ABC jumped the gun on cancelling the show, after it was seen in two different time periods during that season (they thought being on right after "BATMAN" on Thursdays in early 1966 would help). The show's ratings DID rise during the summer, but it was too late for the network to reconsider its decision. This is why they had to pay "through the nose" to get Sally Field to star in "THE FLYING NUN" the following season...in "GIDGET"'s old time period!
