I can't believe this one's coming out so soon. This is a pleasant surprise. Fox is starting to become one of my favorite TV-DVD companies. Now I can go ahead and finish watching my Season 1 set instead of taking my time with it

The extras for this set sound awesome and I can't wait to get it. Now, if only MGM would announce Fame: Season 2 in the very near future. . .

I went to tvshowsondvd.com before I saw your post. All I did was saw White Shadow Season 2 and that was all I needed. I didn't even read the whole thing and see the extras listed at the bottom. I just looked for the date. The commentaries and featurette do sound good. I hope we get to see Hooks, Stewart, Kilpatrick and Augustain on the featurette in addition to hearing them on the commentary.

Hey Jazz, aren't you happy you'll be getting to see your Haywood Nelson brain aneurysm episode soon?

I am. I was hoping they'd continue with season 2 episodes on NBA-TV, but of course having them on dvd is better.

Yep. That's the one I'm looking forward to. Also, the one where the team plays the Harlem Globetrotters and the classic episode where the gang goes to a strip joint and recognize one of the strippers as their English teacher

Some good stuff coming up fa sho'!

The season 2 cover. Not as attractive as the season 1 cover, but hell, I'm just glad it's coming out!

Maybe because they're using a season 3 picture for the cover of the season 2 dvd, they needed time to fix it. According to Fox's website, the release date for season 2 has been pushed back two weeks to March 21.

I hadn't had the chance to check out any of the extras yet, I only clocked the episode lengths, but if there's indication that a season 3 dvd release is on the way, that's great news.

How could the makers of this box set NOT NOTICE that the cover art for Season 2 is a shot from Season 3? How in the world did this happen? I'll bet Ken Howard just grimaced when he saw that. It shows a total lack of respect for the show IMO. Sad. It ALMOST makes me not want to own it.
