Solomon, you're really grasping for straws with this one, lol. I thought this sort of thing didn't matter. I could post endless links with sites, reviews, article, etc, that say it's a spinoff. None of that matters though.

Solomon, it did mention that Good Times was a spinoff. It just missed the top 10 list, but did get an honorable mention. I see you conveniently forgot to add that to this thread.

Besides, the Facts of Life didn't make the list at all, not even a mention. Does that mean it wasn't a spinoff of Diff'rent Strokes? Adrienne Barbeau, who was a cast member of Maude, did say Good Times was a spinoff, and she was on the show, so I'll take her word for it.

We all agree that Good Times was a great show minus season 5 so why wouldn't viewers vote for it? Probably because they didn;t see it as a spinoff just a great show from the 70's

It was voted on and did get an honorable mention. There are a few spinoffs I would have put on that list ahead of shows like Knots Landing, Lou Grant and Mama's Family.

I think if we really want to have control the tv land polls when they come up we should vote.

Because many of the polls that they have been having, are not what many of us on this board would have chosen.

and sitcomsonline in my view reins surpreme over tvland boards anyday

But GT getting an honorable mention in the show doesn't really say yes or no for being a spin off, atleast not for me, it still leaves a question mark Next to GT if it is or not.
