i liked watching the real mccoys sitcom i have two questions:
1.why did grandpa mccoy walk with a bad limp?
2.what happened to the truck after the series was over?

He didn't really have a limp in real-life
it was just written for his Amos character.

Lightbulb The McCoys didn't have a truck.

Perhaps you're thinking of "The Beverly Hillbillies". I'd venture a guess that TV car creator George Barris probably has the Clampett's 1924 Oldsmobile truck in his collection.
"The Real McCoys" had a vintage vehicle, too, but it was a car. It was a 1928-1931 Ford Model A convertible. I'm not certain on the exact year, but it was considered a "jalopy" in the late 50's and early 60's, not the valuable collector car it is today!
