Roxanne Bojarski-spoiled? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Did anyone else on this list get the idea that Roxanne was extremely bossy? She wouldn't let her friend Meg go on Bandstand without her, and was practically ready to disown her for it, even though it was basically the luck of the draw. Roxanne wouldn't let Meg be friends with those other older girls in the first season, just because they didn't like her. Why do all of Meg's friends have to be friends with each other? Also, why did the Pryors keep feeding Roxanne supper? I know her mother was busy, but couldn't she have done something, and more often? Also Roxanne seemed unable to tolerate any of her mother's boyfriends or her own father trying to do anything. Is it my imagination or did Roxanne's mother disappear after the first season? Would you say Roxanne acted normal for someone her age in the 1960s? I don't seem to think for. The thoughts of other members on this subject would be appreciated.

Couldn't tell ya about Roxanne Iw as not around in the 60's sorry.

I don't really think she was spoiled I just think she was a bit "Free" at times. And it was like her Mom didn't care about her.
