Helen and Uncle Pete would be a good couple - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was just watching a couple episodes of season 1 and Uncle Pete and Helen would have been a good couple I think, they were always kind of flirting with eachother. And we know that if AD were to continue that Helen and Jack were going to probably split up so who knows what would have happened! it would have created some drama that's for sure

Helen thinks of Pete as an overgrown child, which is basically what he is. Pete was one of my favorite characters. Most of the adults were really responsible, and I thought it was good to see one who was more irresponsible. I could see Pete going to Helen for advice though.

I do think that if the series had continued, Helen and Jack would have had a huge fight and seperated, but eventually would get back together.

It's a shame the book series didn't continue. There were supposed to be 10 books, but they only released 6 or 7. It would have been a good way to find out what would have happened to the characters.

It totally stinks that the 10 minute peice never aired. They should post it online, since it doesn't look like seasons 2 and 3 are going to be realsed, which stinks, because it was really good show, and there aren't too many good shows on now.
