Talking Bill Bixby's eye color?

Hi! I've been a lurker on this list for awhile and enjoyed reading all of the posts. Now I hope that you can help me. My hobby is dollmaking, and I'm planning/hoping to create a Bill Bixby tribute doll. I was wondering if anyone could confirm his eye color for me. It looks like it might be gray or gray blue with a dark ring around it; however, it might only seem that way because of my TV settings and video equipment. The only color picture I have of him is on a Courtship of Eddie's Father comic book, where he is turned sideways and you can't tell the color of his eyes. It's an important detail that I wouldn't want to mess up. Could anyone tell me what colors they perceive? Thank you in advance! Keep up the fun posts!

According to his bio in Dell's WHO'S WHO IN TELEVISION magazine (No. 23, 1973 issue), Bill Bixby's
eyes are brown.

Talking

In that case, I'd be waaay off. I'm kind of glad I asked for thoughts on this before getting started! This would be the first time that I didn't know the person and didn't have a set of prints as a reference, or someone like a child's mom to ask.

Take care,
Allison

Default actually they are green

Actually his eyes are green. I agree that by looking at them on tv it can be hard to tell but I cat state that from people who actually met him.

OK, so is that just green, or green with brown and/or other colors like hazel? I've had so many odd moments trying to watch the episodes of shows I have him on because on different days they look so many different colors. I've considered it the settings of whatever TV they were recorded from. But even if they'd be a hazel type mix that the light picks up different ways, I wouldn't be surprised. It sure si turning out to be a big mystery for me...but fun, because I'm determined to do this right.

All the best,
Allison
