Yes, but it would have been in repeats those 6 weeks anyway.

It just got worse...
The show will be killed. Viewers won't come back after 3 months... Thanks a lot ABC. ABC has announced changes to its Tuesday night lineup. Beginning Tuesday, February 14, the new schedule will be as follows: "According to Jim" (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET); "Rodney" (8:30-9:00 p.m.); "According to Jim" (9:00-9:30 p.m.); "George Lopez" (9:30-10:00 p.m.); "Boston Legal" (10:00-11:00 p.m.). "Commander In Chief" will return to the schedule on April 18. Editors please note: On February 14 from 8:00-8:30 p.m. ET, "According to Jim" is pre-empted by the special "A Charlie Brown Valentine," as previously announced. "We believe in 'Commander In Chief' and want to do what we think is best for its long term prospects. With this new schedule, the show will return with a healthy run of seven straight episodes in the spring. Airing additional episodes of 'George Lopez' and 'According to Jim' in the 9:00 p.m. time period for the next three weeks will expose our comedies to a new audience and benefit both shows in their regular time periods," said Jeff Bader, executive vice president, Program Planning & Scheduling, ABC Entertainment. |
