Default Why not?!

So today I went to Target to pick up Strong Medicine on DVD. And guess what show was on DVD right next to Strong Medicine? MISSING. Season Two. I don't think they released season one because I can't find it anywhere on Amazon. But, ummm...season two's on DVD? As much as I do like MISSING, it's NOTHING in comparison to The Division. So why did Lifetime release that and not The Division...when TD has had so many more years on Lifetime. It's really irritating! First they cancel the show and now they won't release it on DVD? Does anyone know anything, ANYTHING, about a dvd release for TD? Is it even happening anytime soon?

WHAT?!?! I knew Strong Medicine was out already but Missing?? That shows not even over yet. I know Strong Medicine almost is but look how long The Division has been over! It was so popular (up until the 4th season that is) but we deserve it! UGH I HATE LIFETIME!!

I KNOW!! And both TD and SM have been on Lifetime for such a longer time than Missing. It's seriously annoying. They cancelled the show; the least they could do is release it on DVD like it properly deserves. If not, then don't release shows that are STILL being taped and weren't as big as TD.

It has to do with the fact that Lifetime owns the copyright to Strong Medicine and Viacom owns the copyrights to The Division. Plus Viacom hasn't released any of its shows except 4 Charmed on DVD in a really long time. (Sabrina fans still don't have their show on DVD, either, according to IMDB.) Maybe someday The Division will be on DVD. Just don't go petitioning to Lifetime for it. They may show it every late weeknight, but they don't own the copyrights to it. Viacom does. So if you wan't The Division on DVD in the future, go and ask or Petition Paramount/Viacom instead.

Please vote for The Division starring Nancy McKeon, Lisa Vidal and Bonnie Bedelia to be released onto DVD at http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/showinfo.cfm?showID=439 or www.tvshowsondvd.com. The Division deserves a DVD release, so Nancy McKeon fans and fans of The Division, don't forget to vote at http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/showinfo.cfm?showID=439.

Nancy McKeon is the best actress there ever is!

Oooooooooh. Wow...that I never knew. Thank you! I will certainly keep that in mind if I do some petitioning in the near future. =) Thanks again!

Actually, I double checked and it's Paramount and Viacom. Viacom is actually part of the Paramount film Company. So Try only these two for an attempt at petitioning for a release of The Division on DVD. You know what would have been a cool easter egg on this show? An item of some sort that looks like the mountain on the Paramount logo, like a stalagmite item at the Anchorside Bar and Grill, or an actual picture that actually has the Paramount logo on it. Wouldn't that have been neat for the show?

Hahaha. That would have been cool, a nice little surprise for fans. =) And now that you mentioned it, I really miss seeing the gang at Anchorside. Mmm...I think I'm going to pull out one of my season one tapes and watch it. =)
