Default The Outer Limits - Sixties or Nineties Version

Does anybody remember the Outer Limits like the Twilight Zone because they had a short-lived revamped version of the anthology drama in the mid-to-late nineties. I only saw bits and parts of it but is doesn't stand up to the original!!

The original 60s version, although the short-lived one was ok.

I like the 90's version better.

I was more into that version than the 60's.

I hoped they will bring back The Outer Limits.

Even though I grew up in the 60's with the original Outer Limits,I think
in a lot of ways I like the 90's version better. I would say the updated
version worked better for me. The 1980's & 2000 versions of Twilight Zone
were not as good as the original(although I didn't think they were bad).
Next Step Beyond which hardly anybody remembers was a horrible update
to "One Step Beyond"(a very underrated series I might add). I've watched
a couple eps. of eps.of the new version of NightStalker and it is safe to say
the original Nightstalker(with Darrin McGavin) was much better than this totally vapid series. Hollywood seems to be starving for good actors!

Havent seen the new ones. I enjoy the old immensely, own 2 seasons, as they have this charm and class that can't be beat by being modernized. Especially enjoy the narratives at the beginning and end, they're generally very intelligent and insightful. Also, a great way to see early sightings of oldies that became big stars later on.
