In "Treasure Hunt", there were (as I recall) 30 surprise packages. One box contains a check for $25,000, so you have a 1 in 30 chance to find it. The other boxes contain almost anything, klunks were the prizes that were in the boxes that might contain a trinket for about or less than a dollar and you would want to avoid those. Or there might be smaller checks in various monetary amounts you may find and win. If the check was never found at the end of the show, the correct box is revealed and the check is placed in another box for the next show.

What makes 'Deal or No Deal' interesting is you don't answer any questions or perform stunts to win money. Luck and a sense of timing are key.
