Default Ritz or Chronicle?

If it were your call, would you have kept the guys at Ritz discount, or moved them into the Chronicle? I thought Ernie Sabella did a pretty good job as Mr. Twinkacetti, they could have at least kept him around as the landlord.

In some ways, I liked seeing the guys at the discount store.. Larry was still struggling to become a reporter, and it might have been a little better to drag that out, for at least another season or so, but that's just my opinion.

I like the Ritz Discount episodes better, despite Mr. Twinkacetti's coldness towards Larry and Balki. Every time an episode episodes and I see the Chicago Chronicle building I'm tempted to turn off the TV set.

old thread but oh well

Chronicle. I liked the characters that came with it and the fact that my fav episode "The Gift of the Mypiot" wouldnt have happened if they had stayed at Ritz.

They showed Larry and his wife having a baby but they should had shown Balki with his baby and Larry getting his dream job of becoming an ace reporter!! Now that would be a great way to go out!!

Definitely the Chronicle. The jobs there fit their personalities better, the supporting cast at the Chronicle is better than at the Ritz, and there is much more room at the Chronicle to perform the stunts and musical numbers Balki and Larry are so famous for.

The Chronicle - but the Ritz had its moments, too. But both settings had one thing in common: Belita Moreno!!!!!!

I second this. What made their presence at the Chronicle so special was their ability to actually be the news from time to time like when they were stuck on the billboard during season six for example.

God bless you always!!!
