TV show from the late 80s early 90s (help!) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hi there everyone. I'm currently writing an assignment at university for my popular culture course and need help with info about a show. Obviously I cant remember the name, but what I can remember is this. . .It was based in a highschool, there was a main character after who the show was named. He and his two friends would sort out problems with other students/teachers etc using hidden cams, espionage, manipulation etc. It was a sit com and the actor who played the main character I've also seen in Steven King's The Stand. Any help you can offer would be most appreciated!

Seeing that Corin Nemec was in The Stand, I'd guess Parker Lewis Can't Lose, though I don't remember it having anything to do with espionage.

Abraham Benrubi from ER and Buffy The Vampire Slayer was on that series as well
