Help...Sitcom title - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

This one requires die hard sitcom lovers.

I remember basically nothing other then I liked this show. It aired I think either on WB or NBC in the early 90's. I don't think it lasted most then a few episodes before it was cancelled. I remeber there was a father or step father who had an older daughter who was tall and blonde around age 17 or so. I think they lived in New York in an apartment and it was about their life together?

VERY vague I know. Its killing me trying to remember anything about this show. I think they were upper middle class?
