I agree with you 100%. For the three seasons the show aired, I was a devoted fan of ROSWELL. For the first two seasons, it was my favorite show. Then the WB network made the decision to put their new show SMALLVILLE (also about a teen-age alien) opposite ROSWELL! How dumb, forcing us to choose between two similar shows! Anyway, I share your enthusiasm. Lately I have been reading some of the ROSWELL HIGH novels (on which the show was based). I also have the soundtrack album and the sheet music for the theme song. And I taped a few episodes. It was an excellent sci-fi show, and I still blame its cancellation on the scheduling. Yes, I know there were
VCRs back then. But still two shows aimed at the same demographic or the
same genre audience shouldn't have to directly compete with each other. That's my
opinion for what it's worth.

the first two seasons were phenomenal, but the third year started off strong but fizzled out quickly, I still wish we would've at least gotten a fourth season

I Like the Third Season better thsan the second. They brought it back to the "love" part of the show. And I thought it got better and better as the season went on. I loved the whole Diane and Philip Evans investigating the kids. It was great. I have the Soundtrack too!!....Did you read the book that takes place after the Series Finale??? What's it called??

I loved season 2 because it was more sci-fi than romantic, I loved a lot of the arcs that season, there was so much more to the show than Max and Liz's love story. They needed to put the relationships on the backburner to really give the show the edge you knew it could have.

Your absolutley right...I loved the whole Sci-fi aspect of the show too. They were all good. The only episode that I can honestly say I really don't like was "SUmmer of 47." Ugh. The worst. But not as bad as some other shows on TV.....I also liked season 2 because we saw different sides to Kyle and Jim Valenti. And i'm sorry, but I do like Tess.(Many fans hate her)

What's your Favorite episode from each season? And who are your 3 favorite characters? (This probably should be in a seperate post, but..oh well)
