It is true. "Cosby" leaves after tomorrow. Amen will take over on Monday the 11th of Feb.
Atleast "Cosby" is on local stations, it is on a local here (NJ) at 5 and 5:30PM on WPXN. |

Don't worry, Cosby isn't being taken off totally. TBS still has The Cosby Show on the air every weekday.

Luckily, my PAX channel has changed somehow and now Cosby is on everyday from 5p-6p. The only show I don't have now is Dave's World.

Cosby has taken a real hit on TBS lately. You used to be able to see 2 episodes of Cosby Show in the afternoon and Cosby on in the morning. Now it's been reduced to just 1 showing of the Cosby Show in an early morning slot.
I am very dissapointed, because my Fox affaliate used to show Cosby, but stopped in September (to replace it with Blind Date, of all things). I would have to think it will be back, though. TBS usually buys the rights to these sitcoms for several years. It is not unlike them to temporarily pull the plug on a show for a while (I remember it happened to A Different World last year). I think that is why you will see shows like "Amen" pop up out of nowhere after they haven't been heard from in years. Maybe one of the experts here can verify this for me. |
