ACTOR RICK SCHRODER TO AUCTION OFF FURNITURE BENEFITING CHILDHELP USA®
PASS IT ON’S 2ND CELEBRITY AUCTION EVENT FEATURES ANTIQUE TO CONTEMPORARY ITEMS

PHOENIX – August 10, 2005 – ‘Strong Medicine’ star Rick Schroder will auction off more than two dozen furniture items ranging from contemporary chairs to 19th century antiques such as an Italian rococo style walnut and caned settee, as well as a French polychrome repoussee morbier clock. The latest Pass It On™ Celebrity Series Auction will begin on August 15, 2005 at WWW.PASSITONLINE.ORG.

Proceeds from the Rick Schroder Auction will benefit Childhelp USA®, which exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of abused and neglected children by focusing efforts in the areas of treatment, prevention and research.
“Pass it On is the only celebrity garage sale that I know of that benefits charity,” Schroder said.

Schroder is 20-year veteran TV icon and movie star, starring in such projects as Silver Spoons, NYPD Blue, The Lost Battalion, Lonesome Dove, Black Cloud, Little Lord Fauntleroy and The Champ. Currently, Schroder plays Dr. Dylan West on The Lifetime Series Strong Medicine, which airs Sundays.

Pass It On, a 501(c)(3) online charity auction site, hosted an Alice Cooper Auction in May. More than 25,000 people logged on to the debut auction, which ended June 30. The event attracted visitors worldwide to bid and buy.
