Default My Ideas for a Sliders Reunion Trilogy

Sliders - The Movie

This film would be set right after "The Seer". Rembrandt slides to Earth Prime, makes some friends and defeats the Kromaggs. There was a problem, though. Earth Prime wasn't Earth Prime. When Quinn had pushed both Wade and Remmy into the vortex (Season 3 finale), it was a different earth. Wade and Remmy believed it to be Earth Prime and started living there. However, since it wasn't their earth, the doubles of them exsisted. When the Kromaggs captured the two, it was Wade's double who had been taken away and eventually a head in a jar. Which means, Wade Wells is alive. The two are reunited. She explains everything. Just when they think they'll never slide again, Conrad Benish, Jr. comes to their aid. He has taken Quinn's equipment and became a slider. He visits the earth and runs into the two. Rembrandt, Wade and Benish slide off that earth, and head for the real Earth Prime.

Yes, that means Quinn's mom was the mother to the Quinn of that world. Which also means that Quinn IS from Earth Prime and Colin is not really his brother.

Sliders II - Return to Earth Prime

Rembrandt, Wade and Benish return to Earth Prime. Everything is fine. The Kromaggs never took over, yet. Remmy decides to make one more slide - to pick up Maggie, Mallory and Diana. It's not as easy as he thinks. They are able to track wormholes, thanks to Benish. But they still can't go to any earth they want to, if they haven't been there before. So the three sliders, after a wonderful homecoming with their families, leave Earth Prime again. The movie shows the different worlds they visit. In the end, the trio finally run into the other trio, back in "The Seer" world. They explain to Mrs. Mallory that her Quinn could still be out there somewhere. Rembrandt, Wade, Benish, Maggie, Diana, Mallory and Mrs. Mallory all slide back to Earth Prime. There, they set up a lab, with plans to bring back Quinn and Colin. Mrs. Mallory came along and slid back to her home earth (which was the earth in "Genesis").

Sliders III - The Vortex Project

Benish claims he knows how to bring back Quinn and not destroy Mallory at the same time. The sliders have set up a lab. Mallory gets into a vortex room. Benish, although not as easily as I say it, is able to bring back Quinn. Mallory has gone back to being in a wheelchair. However, Quinn, Rembrandt, Wade and Maggie have a reunion. Rembrandt tells Quinn everything about their trip to the world they though was Earth Prime and that Colin wasn't really his brother. Quinn returns to his old house, to find his mother still there. They have a reunion. The sliders make the news. Everyone in that world finds out about their adventures. They even hold an official memorial service for Professor Arturo. Diana and Benish team up again and are able to anchor Colin. Even though he's not technically Quinn's brother, the two still hug and agree to stay together. In the end, Quinn and Colin live with Mrs. Mallory. Rembrandt goes back to his singing career. Wade sells her diary and becomes rich. Maggie moves into an apartment and meets the double of her late husband. They begin dating. Diana and Mallory make one final slide - back to their home earth.

The final scene finds Quinn in his basement, working on his next project ... time travel!

****
Arturo is still dead. I wish he wasn't, but I honestly can't think of a way to bring him back. I don't like the idea of him still being on the Azure Gate world. Only because, the Arturo in season 3 was still the Arturo who gave his life for the sliders. And I believe he was the same guy that slid with them in the pilot. Besides, I don't think John Rhys-Davies would ever go back to Sliders. The others might.
