Default Anybody else hate when a number of ABC sitcoms...

...did their shows at Disney World? I think Roseanne, Step By Step and Family Matters did shows there. I found them sappy and annoying and not really funny. It was a shameless plug by Disney when they bought the ABC network.

I loved the Boy Meets World episode at Disney World, it's a favorite episode of the whole series of mine, and it's a fan favorite episode too

That was just the way they did TGIF then, there would be a theme each week, I remember when Salem the Cat from Sabrina: The Teenage Witch crossedover to BMW, and a few other shows as well

yes, I agree. They are mostly useless.

I will admit to enjoying the Roseanne one though. It wasn't a great episode by any stretch of the imagination but it was cute to see the softer side of Darlene, and the episode did end up with meaning considering that the seeds were planted (so to say) for Darlene's pregnancy there.

Yes. That's why Ro's DisneyWorld episode was different for me. At least it followed the show's typical fashion by having someone get pregnant there.

Dan's run to Epcot because The Magic Kingdom doesn't serve beer was one of my favorite scenes of the entire series.

Disney didn't buy ABC until '96, and I think Step By Step and Family Matters had already gone to Disney World by that point. I know that Full House did, because it ended before the takeover.

The FH one was AWFUL!!! Maybe because it centered around that brat Michelle. I would have cheered that she disappeared if I were her sister.

Though I do have to admit I laughed at the fact that they put Scott Wenger in the Aladdin suit.

Darlene got knocked up at Disney land? I missed that.
