Does anybody remember this show or still watch it? It's on at 1 and 1:30 AM on Comedy Central on Early Monday Mornings. If you don't remember it started a movie critic named Jay Sherman voiced by Jon Lovitz. It's a really funny show. I'm just wondering if there are any other people that like it.

I used to watch it when it came on at a normal timeslot. A few weeks ago I caught an episode on really late in the morning and I try to catch it and Duckman when I can.

Ah, "The Critic"...another one of those shows that was way ahead of its time. It's a shame that ABC and Fox didn't have enough faith in this program to give it more than a passing chance, for this show was a true animated classic of satire and was quite worthy of being presented alongside "The Simpsons", and "King of the Hill".
At least we can be grateful that it's still in re-runs...even if it is on at 3am! |

I first saw the Jay Sherman character on The Simpsons on one of the episodes. I thought that he was great, then one day when I was watching Comedy Central I caught an episode of it. It's a pretty good show, from what I've seen.

I loved it the first season, but then, they "Improved" it the next year,m and doomed it to cancellation...Fox used to be good at that ( think Herman's head )
