Default Little things about your job that bother you?

Granted, I love my job. I work in Event Services at the Milwaukee Brewers (ticket taker, usher, answer people's questions constantly, etc) and it's fun, but there's some little things that bother me!

First we have a restaurant in Miller Park that's open year round called "Friday's Front Row Sports Grille"- has NOTHING to do with TGI Friday's at all. People are constantly asking me "Where's TGI Friday's?" or "When does TGI Friday's open?" Then I always say "Actually, it's called Friday's Front Row Grille" and then I answer there question. I have to tell them that because if they really think they're going to a TGIF's, when they go in the restaurant they could be dissapointed when they find out it's not!

Another thing is when I take tickets there's lots of people who don't know where their seats are so I have to tell them. What bothers me is when people ask "How do you get to the LODGE section/level?" ugggggghhhhhhh, it's LOGE, not LODGE- there's no "D" in the word.

And don't even get me started on all the drunk people.

That's really it. So what irks you about your job?

The lockers in the break room have jacked-up shelves...That's why someone jacked my wallet.

When the waitress brings my drink to my dressing room and there's 4 ice cubes in it. I don't like more than 3 ice cubes.

when people actually stand and wait for me to open a roll of pennies, or wait for one of the managers to fix the price of something that accidentally rang up less than a dollar more.

Current job (classroom aide)- Children who bully other kids, especially when the parents have "NMK!" syndrome. (NMK stands for Not MY Kid!); Parents who think their kid is the only one in the whole class.; Co-workers who leave the faculty room a mess.

Old job (supermarket cashier)- I'd list them all, but they'd take up a whole page. Generally, people who are rude, lazy, inconsiderate, unreasonable, self-centered, or just plain stupid.

Students who *believe* we are here to do their homework and are a one-on-one tutor. Nuh-uh! We computer techs assist and help students with stuck problems or computer questions. We just assist. Even if most students know that, it's those few stubborn ones that make it difficult....

I did...I still have to follow-up on it though. It makes me mad that the theater doesn't do smack about their lockers though.

Oh yeah, other things I hate about my job...

DEMANDING CUSTOMERS.
STUPID CUSTOMERS

Examples:
"This popcorn is too salty! Can you dump it out and give me popcorn from that bin?"
"I wanted the box with animals on it! I WANT THE MADAGASCAR BOX!!"

And the ever-so-popular...

"Can I have a large Coke and two hot dogs?"

Hot dogs and drinks are SELF-SERVE.

-_-

I warned you about those drunks Meister!!
I thought that Fridays was part of the chain, isnt it? I was going to go there once, but it was too crowded. Why do they call it Friday's if its not a Fridays?

Anyway, some people feel the need to stop in my office and just chat with each other, and no matter how uninterested I am in the conversation, they keep talking and I am sitting here wondering why they cant do this somewhere else. Other than that it is great.
