I just bought two episodes of the short lived Bewitched spinoff "Tabitha." They were titled "Energy Crisis" and "Tabitha's Party." They were the first and last episodes of the series, respectively.
I do not remember seeing these on TV Land when they were airing the series a few months ago, so why did TV Land not air these two episodes? |

I thought I was the only one that noticed. Yeah, it really bummed me out. The first couple of times through, I thought that I'd just somehow missed them when they were aired. But after repeated airings of all of the other episodes, I came to the conclusion that they just weren't going to be shown. If possible, please let me know where you bought these 2 episodes. I'd really like to get a chance to watch them.

I briefly saw part of a "Tabitha" episode where Tabitha was talking to the Kravitz's. Was Tabitha at their house? And if so, where were Darren and Samantha. Actually, where were Darren and Samantha period? Were they ever mentioned?

I think Darrin and Samantha were briefly mentioned on one episode. I can't recall. Maybe not by name though... the "Tabitha" show acted as if Bewitched never happened, except for the opening credits.
And yes, neither the first episode or the last episode aired on TV Land. And personally, I think Tabitha was getting a lot better towards it's end. And you should go out and buy the DVDs because the unaired Pilot is actually quite decent. I much prefer the way Adam is written in the unaired Pilot as well as the actor (no offense to the actor who played Adam in the full run of Tabitha) but the unaired Pilot did bare a resemblance to Bewitched's first episode... so, it was a double-edged sword, so to speak. |
