Does anyone know if their is going to be another amazing race? I assumed there would be put their was no preview for the next one at the end. Earlier on I had seen one about families on the amazing race and I was wondering if there still doing that.

I couldn't find an exact premier date for Amazing Race 8, but I did see that since it's the one with family teams, they wanted to wait until the kids were out of school before filming began. They've been casting and plan to start filming late this month and expect it to last 30 - 40 days.

This one looks really interesting - families of four - that ought to be good for some arguments!

It'll probably air in early September (hopefully earlier though).

I'm sure once Pav gets the schedule he'll post it.

It will premiere in September(and run through December like Survivor). It should start filming soon if it hasn't already.

Yes... it is a family edition.

Last I read (about a week ago through than interview with the producer) was that they haven't began filming yet. TAR also only runs 11 weeks per cycle, so I'm betting that the edition will start in the first week of the season and wrap on the last Tuesday of November sweeps, and then edition 9 will premiere like this year, in March and end in May. After having 3 editions of TAR within the last 11 months, this wait is going to be killer
