Yeah, I've been thinking about doing at least a small follow-up on what happens after they go back to their huts that night. I think it would be funny for the Skipper to question Gilligan about why he has lipstick on his face, and for Gilligan to tell him a gentlemen doesn't "kiss and tell", LOL. Can you see the Skipper's reaction?

OK--give me a day or two to think about it. I'm actually better at writing things in my head as I'm going about my business, then typing them out later. I'll give it a shot, LOL.

Yeah, that's it exactly! I can imagine the scenes perfectly, the dialogue and such, but when I go to describe the actions, it's hard. Sometimes it flows perfectly, other times it's so forced it doesn't seem natural.

I've written other things, mostly "Erma Bombeck"-style short humor pieces about everyday life or my kids. This was my first fanfic, though. My first "romantic" scene, too, LOL--it felt kinda strange (and I've been married nearly 16 years!)

I'll try to get the next bit of the fanfic done in the next few days.

Hm, I have the opposite problem, guys... LOL. Actions and internal "getting inside their heads" is easier than dialogue for me. LOL. I'm just obsessed with describing every minute little detail...sometimes I think I describe too much... **shrug**

I've never written a "romantic" word in my life until that itty bitty little scene in "And Baby Makes Eight", which doesn't even *compare* with what I wrote in the sequel.... hehehe. Julie's read part of it... Sometimes it feels good to be slightly scandalous. LOL.

I usually think i describe too much too. i have to put in writing every little thing they're thinking and feeling....but i have trouble finding the words for it. especially for this romance crap! lol! i know very little of the subject from my own personal experience....how the heck do i really know what they're feeling? so i'm relying on a bunch of cliches and such. hee hee! this story i'm writing is my first stab at romance too....simply because you will never convince me that G/P and MA/G didn't have something going on....and because there isn't enough good fanfic with them as couples. i love romance stuff....i'm just not the greatest at writing it.
LOL! no...it never hurts to have a little tonsil-hockey. *giggle* just wait till my sequel....it's DEFINITELY gonna be PG13.

ok, well, i'm in journalism...not doing my work as usual...the bell's gonna ring. lol.

**gasp** You uttered the "t-h" phrase! hehe. Into the penalty box with you! (We never figured out what that was, btw...lol)

I'm here...eagerly awaiting any GI literature anyone's willing to give me. Hee.

LOL! the penalty box eh? hmmm.....either i'm not in a dirty mood....or there just isn't anything that fits for that. but hey, with the way this whole hockey analogy is going.....the penalty box probably isn't a bad thing. hee hee!!

oh yay....the state of the union address.
*president enters*
CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP!!!!!
"thank you"
CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP!!!!
"my fellow americans...."
CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP!!!!!

if they cut out all the clapping, it would last 10 minutes.

sorry, that was totally off of any topic whatsoever.....i'm just listening to the tv.

I'm looking forward to reading both sequels. They should be interesting . (Verrrrry interesting, as Arte Johnson used to say on Laugh-In--please tell me you know about Laugh-In, I feel old, LOL.)

I'm going to start typing two new scenes this morning, and I'm thinking about a third--it just hasn't come together completely. They're gonna be kinda short--sorry. I'm just telling them as they happened in my head. Trying to get them to last longer just seemed forced.

I'll probably put them in a new thread.

Oh, geez, I'm typing it out and the ending of Scene 2 took a turn on me. Looks like there will have to be more to the story--Ginger is mad at Mary Ann, and I think I'll need a next-day scene where Ginger vamps Gilligan to get even with Mary Ann. That should be interesting, but I didn't really plan it that way. The dialog was actually flowing smoothly, and words that I didn't plan popped out, LOL. There's just no other way to end the scene I'm typing right now.

Oh my gosh Courtney! You've got to post some of that sequal soon or I will go completely *bonkers* (Really, I'm just trying to annoy you to the point of posting it, lol.) But seriously, it sounds great! I'm going nearly insane with anticipation!

Meanwhile, I'll stop annoying you and as I keep promising on my other post, I'll try to be writing my fic. I'm real bad about promising something but never actually going through with it. I told April I'd try not to do that this time. *hides*

Gilligan: Mrs. Howell, I might blow up.
Lovey: Oh, don't you dare get angry with me!
