Default Early Buzz -- Yes, Dear is gone

With CBS' upfront coming later this week, "Yes, Dear" is not expected to be on the fall line-up. Though, there is a chance CBS will order 13 episodes for the show and end it in January, like they did last season with "Becker." CBS is expected to add two new sitcoms this fall, one to follow "The King of Queens" on Wednesdays and one to replace "Yes, Dear" on Mondays. Those two shows are shows starring John Goodman and another sitcom starring the cursed Jason Alexander.

I think CBS should at least give Yes Dear the chance to have a series finale

I think "Yes, Dear" will be back sooner than we all think. Those other two new shows CBS will debut in the fall look awful. Both the John Goodman and Jason Alexander shows look hideous!! They should both just stick to picking up their residual checks from their old classic shows.

What I would like to know is how many stinkin' sitcoms are they going to try to make Jason Alexander successful in?? Yeach... the guy is a complete No-Talent and has bombed in everything he's ever done, except SEINFELD. Remember that one miserable failure about the motivational speaker? Geesh, I cringe just thinking about it. And John Goodman is only about two steps above that callibar, imho!

I agree with whoever said put these two out of their misery and let them just collect residuals from their past shows. That way, great shows like YES, DEAR could continued to be enjoyed!

I think Yes, Dear will be around a little while longer. I just got back from a Yes, Dear taping in LA which taped on September 22nd. I won't give any spoilers to the episode, but it did have 2 notable guest stars.

I think (HOPE!) you may be right. Reviewers are already pretty unanimously declaring that Goodman's and Alexander's shows both stink. So please, CBS, realize the folly of your ways and put back on the quality programming of YES DEAR again!

It's probably over... I mean come on, how many sitcoms get cancelled, then come back as a mid-season replacement?

CBS Fall schedule will be out May 18th.
