Default "Today's Designing Women" Episodes

Epsiodes:

Ep1: Big Surprise:
Mary Jo recieves news that her daughter is pregnant. Mary Jo goes through a "crisis" thinking she's old. Suzanne decides to give Dash Goff (Gerald McRaney) a call. Suzanne and Dash decide to meet for a few drinks at a bar.

Ep2: Had Enough:
Charlene is sick of being a "single" parent while Bill is away in the Military. Mary Jo and Suzanne help Charlene file for divorce, since they both have been divorced in the past. Anthony and Etienne look into buying a much more expensive house.

Ep3: Julia's Party:
The girls and Anthony throw Julia a big surprise 65th Birthday party. At the party, Suzanne and Dash fall madly back in love. Charlene recieves a letter from Bill, saying he is willing to divorce, which breaks Charlene's heart dearly.

Ep4: Julia's Big News:
Julia tells Charlene, Suzanne, Mary Jo, and Anthony that she is retireing after the first of the year. They each think about how they will manage without Julia around. Julia tells them that she will stay around to help, just not be a partner in the business, which pleases them all.

Ep5: A Party For Two Occasions:
Julia has herself a retirement party for them all. At the party, Dash proposes to Suzanne, who accepts. Julia warns Suzanne that this will be the third time they will be marrying each other. Suzanne claims to actually love Dash this time.

Ep6: Off To Court, We Shall Go:
Charlene drags Mary Jo, Suzanne, Julia, Anthony, Etienne, and Dash with her for support, when she goes to court to get her and Bill's divorce finalized.

Ep7: The Return Of An Ex-Husband:
Mary Jo is surprised to see Ted Shively on her doorstep, after learning Ted has lost his house in a divorce between him and Tammy. Mary Jo decides to be the nice person she is and let Ted move in with her until he gets back onto his feet.

Ep8: Dating Again:
Julia and Charlene go to a singles bar. Claudia and her husband, Jeff Stephens, visit Ted and Mary Jo, during their stay, Claudia goes into labor and has her baby. Ted and Mary Jo put their divorce aside and work together to take Claudia to the hospital. Claudia has a baby boy, Hunter Matthew Stephens.

Ep9: Grandma Mary Jo:
Mary Jo loves showing off her newborn grandson to the gang. Charlene can't make her payments on the house, being divorced now and with full custody of Olivia. Julia offers to have them move in with her meanwhile.

Ep10: The Kiss Of An Ex:
After seeing Claudia and her family leave, Mary Jo becomes lonely and Ted tries to comfort her. Ted and Mary Jo end up first kissing, then making out, then resulting in having sex. Mary Jo feels taken advantage of and wants to kick Ted out but doesn't have the courage to. Suzanne, Charlene, and Julia get together and help Mary Jo kick Ted out, but just before the girls arrive at the Shively home, Ted proposes to Mary Jo for the second time. Leaving Mary Jo all confused on what to think

Charelene wouldn't get divorced. It isn't in her character, besides she loved that Bill was in the military. Other than that you had some good ideas.

Default CHARLENE DIVORCE IS A GOOD IDEA FOR A STORYLINE

WITH RECENT INTERNATIONAL EVENTS AND THE CALL TO DUTY, BILL HAS BEEN AWAY FOR MORE THEN THREE YEARS CAUSING A RIFT BETWEEN THEM. BILL MEETS SOMEONE DURING THAT TIME AND THINGS HAPPEND. OLIVIA WOULD A TEENAGER NOW. IN FACT, Charlene would be in the same place as mary jo was IN 1986 WHEN THE SHOW STARTED
