NBC Says No More to 'LAX'

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - NBC has officially grounded its low-rated freshman drama "LAX" by opting not to pick up additional episodes of the show, which stars Heather Locklear and Blair Underwood as airport executives.
The original 13-episode order for "LAX" will be completed. Ten of them already have aired with no immediate plans for the remaining three. "LAX," which most recently aired in the Wednesday 8 p.m. time slot, is being pre-empted the next three weeks for previously scheduled specials.

Fox, meanwhile, has ordered eight additional episodes of its promising new reality series "Nanny 911." The show, which airs Wednesdays 9 p.m., features a team of British nannies tending to families in crisis.

NBC.com lists LAX scheduled for Saturday January 15 2005, so obviously the remaining episodes will be burned off on Saturday Nights starting in January.

LAX will NOT air tonight due to the Tsaumi telethon/fundraiser.

LAX is back on for burnoff episodes on Saturday March 19 at 8PM Eastern.

I am still bummed over this. I loved the show and I thought Heather was great on it.
