Our Walmart didn't have it either. Grrr!!!! I called the one closest
to me which was in Colonial Heights to see if they had it & they said
they didn't. I called the next closest Walmart which was in Petersburg
& they didn't have it either. I called Target, Circuit City & Best Buy
to see if they had it. Target didn't get it in they said cuz their
truck was delayed. Circuit City was $39.99 but Best Buy was the
$37.99 listed in their ad. Best Buy said they had 6 copies last when
I asked them how many they had. I went to Walmart & Target & neither
one had it or knew when they would get it in. Walmart is just
getting lousy with their dvd's I swear. They ahd seasons 1 & 2. Some
other old 60's & 70's shows dvds that we want they didn't have
either. It's getting to the point where the only thing they are good
for are groceries & getting the oil changed in your car. Heck the
stuff in their ladies plus size dept is too fuddy duddy looking for
me.

I got it in Best Buy for the $37.99 price which came to around $39
something with tax. The box said it was $41.99. Since their sales are
weekly I suspect the last day of the sale on it will be Sat. So better
get them while you can. When I went in there they only had 3 left. I
had to contain myself to keep from squeeing in the store. When we
were leaving Best Buy as we walked outside an old 60's car painted
red & white (red with a white roof-- no Starsky stripe & not a
Torino) came riding by. Weird & prophetic lol...

I can't figure why the Season 3 dvd set is so hard to find around here
& stores not getting it in. & Why it was released in England first
when it's a US show I'll never know. I am just so glad to have it...

The reason why Starsky & Hutch is released in England before the US, is because it was enormously popular over there, even more so here in the states; but to get back to not being able to find the latest DVD, usually a lot of stores will not have a DVD out yet even though that particular TV-DVD released date is that day.. I was lucky I asked around here at SO to find out where and what stores had the best prices and someone mentioned Target, so on the 15th I went to Target and THERE was the 3S of S&H..I was thrilled! I am definitely looking forward to seeing an episode titled The Trap with General Hosptial icon Anthony Geary...

I went to Walmart on Tuesday morning around 6AM before I went to work, hoping that they just might have the new season three of S & H. But no, they didn't. They did already have Hogan's Heroes Season One which was also released that day, but not S & H. Drat! LOL! So after work I went to Best Buy and I had to look around for it but they did have it so I bought it for, I think, 37.99. I've already looked at a few of the episodes. I wanted to see the ep with Danny DeVito and I was very disappointed. Danny just appeared in two scenes, total, I think with very little interaction and very few lines. I saw the ep with Melanie Griffith! hubba hubba LOL! Boy, she was young in that ep. I wonder how old she was???? Well, Melanie had a lot more lines than Danny did in his ep. And her character was more central to the plot. I also saw the Contender but I fell asleep while watching it and didn't see the ending. LOL! So I'll have to watch that episode again in order to see the end of the ep. LOL!

Re: the popularity of S & H in England. I've noticed how popular S & H is over in England. If you ever search for S & H on Ebay, I noticed that three quarters of the items listed are from sellers in England. LOL!

This has been a good week for DVD's. Last Friday, I found Charlies Angels Season Two on sale for 24 dollars at the used DVD store that I go to. Then on Tuesday, I bought S & H Season Three. This morning I bought Columbo Season Two. And next week Kojack Season One is being released!!!! LOL! Shrewwwwwww . . .. . kind of expensive few weeks but LOTS of great television!!!!! And Bob Newheart show Season One next month!!!!!! LOL!

Signed,
Respectfully,
Dutch

I believe Melanie was in her late teens (18 or 19 years old) when she made an appearence on that episode; as Starsky & Hutch is very very very popular in England, which is cool since David Soul became a British Citizen a couple of years ago..(I believe he moved to England back in the early 1990s)..I, as I mentioned in my pervious post, purchased my S&H 3S DVD @ Target, and still I have not watched one single episode..right now I am too busy, but I cannot wait, since I have only seen a handful of eps from this season...
