I think the Annie Lorie case is the only kidnapping case featured on Unsolved that was solved.
She was the wife of a wealthy Texan who ran a school photo franchising business. She was kidnapped by a lawyer, Alfred Wynn, who was convicted and is serving a 19 year sentence. Unfortunately her body has never been found. There was a quasi-ransom demanded, that Mr. Lorie pay back money to a series of school photo franchise owners who his company sued. Wynn was on the list. The case was just shown tonight on Lifetime and featured last week on Discovery Channel's, "FBI Files." (They referred to Unsolved's involvement, but only mentioned them as a "national crime show.) |
