I can't believe it, either. And in April, I will have been in San Angelo for an entire year.

I know you're itching to get outta there, too. Maybe you can see the other side of Texas before you leave. That way your last memory won't be of the freakin' "desert."

Yeah, I could stand to see something else beside San Angelo for a while, but unfortunately I have to stay here for another year.

If I could, I really would like to go back to Lackland AFB in San Antonio. I went there a couple of weeks ago and it looks different, especially be there as permanent party instead of a basic trainee.
