Question Tony Dow

I read somewhere that Tony Dow after the production of Leave It To Beaver ended, grew his hair long, became sort of a hippie, and was involved in some kind of murder?

I know that sound wild but I read about it somewhere.

Does anyone know what the truth is?

I had heard he had a sex-change, and is now working on tv under the name Judge Judy.

To answer your question, I have never heard of Tony being in any type of trouble, unlike many of the other stars of TV and movies. He has always seemed to be the type that would stay away from those sorts of things. Good for you, Tony!!

I read in a tv history book once that when Tony was 18 years old, he was driving on a highway and there was someone walking across the highway (maybe their car stopped or something??) and Tony accidenately him him and he died. That may be what you heard. It wasn't a murder and it obviously was an accident, albeit a very tragic one.

I don't know anything about either subject either, but I'm blown-away to see activity on this forum!

Lets keep it going!
