Default B.J. and the Bear

Have you ever seen a show called "B.J. and the Bear?" If not, I'll tell you what it is. "B.J. and the Bear" starred Greg Evigan (pre-"My Two Dads") as B.J. McKay, a truck driver in the Atlanta area. B.J. has a pet chimp, "the Bear," hence the show's title. In the second season "B.J. and the Bear" moved to Los Angeles, where B.J. decided to settle down. This would be a great show for TV Land.

Oh my God. I agree. I haven't seen this show in forever. I was so in love with Greg Evigan when this show was on. I would absolutely love to see it again.

Ditto, Ditto, Ditto! To see Greg Evigan as B.J. McKay on TVLand would be so sweet.

If TV Land would quit airing double episodes of certain shows, there would be room for a show like BJ And The Bear.

Exactly.. there are so many that I'd like to see, but that'll probably never happen while they're doing that. My eyes lit up when I saw the subject of this thread, 'cause it seems like this is one of those shows some people tend to forget.

I think alot of people have forgotten this show. I don't know how, it was the light of my life when it was on. We can only hope that someday, someone will bring it back to life. By the way, anyone know how Greg Evigan is. Is he still married, any kids? I've always wondered about that. Talking about this show brings back so many memories it's almost eerie. I used to wait in front of the t.v. forever waiting for the next episode. What was I thinking not taping them, even though i was only 13, maybe 12 at the time. What year did it start again. There was one episode that really stuck with me, that one with girl being some sort of a witch or something. Does anyone else remember that at all? They all stuck with me, but that one was so strange.

He's been married to Pam Serpe since June of 1979, and has three children. Here's more of his biography at imdb: http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0263760/bio

And for the show, which began in 1978: http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0077196/

B.J. was what kids today would call "the bomb," only better! He was totally hot. And how about that theme song?
