The Sanford Arms was a short-lived spinoff of Sanford and Son. I know it didn't last long, but does anyone know if this was a good show or not? Just curious with any info I can get on this show. Thanks!!!

The main reason why Sanford Arms was probably cancelled after 4 eps was probably because the show took place inside the Sanford House with the same supporting characters-Esther, Grady, and Bubba. So to a lot of viewers, Sanford Arms probably was the 7th season of Sanford and Son without Fred and Lamont-lol

It was a stupid idea to begin with. Kind of like trying to do the Dick Van Dyke Show without Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore. Or Laverne and Shirley without Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams. Or the Odd Couple without Jack Klugman and Tony Randall. You get the idea.
