Talking "To Be Continued..."

...that's what it said at the end of the very last episode of "Cybill," but it never was. In the final epside, Dr. Dick bribes Maryann's business manager into stealing all of her money and giving it back to Dr. Dick. To put it simply, Maryann is: BROKE. No money. No nothing. So in a desperate attempt to get revenge on him, she and Cybill go out to his house and blow up his boat, his car, and other things. Meanwhile, Cybill's talk show gets canceled and right after taping the final episode, the cops come to the set and arrest Maryann and Cybill for the murder of Dr. Dick.

"Well he better be dead, because if he isn't dead, he's dead!" Maryann screams.

And then the show faded into black and read "to be continued," but never was. What do you think would happen to Cybill and Maryann?

I, just yesterday in fact, purchaced Cybill's book, "Cybill Disobedience" and learned some rather intriguing information regarding the series, particularly this final episode. According to Cybill, during rehearsal for the very last scene "Cybill" did, Christine Baranski who played Maryann rudely walked off of the set while Cybill was singing a song that was later cut from the final show. Apparently, according to the book, Christine and Cybill did not have a great frinedship off the set. They would try to become close but just never did. Now, I must say, Cybill Shepard is somewhat of a strange woman and I do not necessarily believe everything she says, but this was not something that seemed too far-fetched for me to believe.

Yeah. I didn't like the way the show ended! I still say an hour long finale would have been nice and made a whole lot more sense!

Well, if Christine doesn't come out with a bio anytime soon, I'll write it! I'm gonna write Cindy William's biography!!! She needs one!

Feenster Girl

PS I also read in the book about Ryan O'Neil! He was a pig! What he said to Cybill when they first met.."Let's F**K!" I'm glad she punched him in the stomache! And when I watch 'Chances Are' there's a whole new meaning! Cybill Shepherd can't stand Ryan O'Neil!! She said that when they did the kissing scene, she had to think of her friend's death, because she'd laugh at every take!

So everytime I watch that movie, I laugh at that part! I used to didn't like it cuz I wanted Corrine and Alex(Robert Downey Jr.) to get together when I was little!

Well, I loved the final episode, but you're right, Feenster -- this show should have had an hour long series finale, it deserved one! But the final show had everything -- Cybill in a talk show, Maryann stalking (with Cybill), and Maryann going absolutely crazy after Dr. Dick steals her money!

Hmm..A thought...what if Maryanne's brain was cut in half? And replacing the other half or her brain with Lucy Ricardo's! Then Maryanne..wait! Maryanne has all the brilliant ideas anyways! Haha!!! Lucy wouldn't get away w/ her NOT being in the show!

#1..Lucy would have a better singing voice
#2..Ricky Ricardo would be dead by the end of the 1st season! LoL!
