Fonziebirds Are Go Again

Chapter 1: On Four Wings & A Prayer

It was raining outside, Warren 'Potsie' Tracy and his three younger brothers Ralph, Richard (a.k.a Richie) and Charles (a.k.a Chachi) were in the Tracy lounge watching Jailhouse Rock and the part where Elvis sang the title song.

The warden threw a party in the county jail. The prison band was there and they began to wail. The band was jumpin' and the joint began to swing. You should've heard those knocked out jailbirds sing. Let's rock, everybody, let's rock. Everybody in the whole cell block was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock..

"Elvis is so cool when he sings and plays the guitar." said Potsie with his eyes wide.

"Earth to Potsie," Ralph alerted his older brother. "He's in his mid to late 20s right now, don't you remember that this movie was made in 1958?"

"Who cares if he's 25 and over, maybe they're other guys that look like him!" Potsie told his redheaded brother.

Ralph, Richie and Chachi all sighed as Potsie watched on, then suddenly the alarm went off causing the boys to stop the movie and go straight to their father Howard's office.

"Hello, boys." Howard greeted.

"This better be important, Dad," Potsie said angrily. "I was just watching my music hero playing the guitar!"

"Okay," Howard ignored Potsie and pressed the button on his remote, the screen behind him showed a picture of a blurred silver car. "The Hill Valley Police Department has be receiving complains of hearing sonic booms everyday usually after this booms, it's accompanied by the Candy Man again, we managed to reduce the blurring." He pressed the remote again and the picture on the screen sharpened to reveal the back of the Candy Man attempting to destroy the boys birthtown.

"How long has this been going on?" Richie asked.

"It happened just now!" Howard answered.

"Could it really be him?" Chachi asked.

"Yes, Chachi - Al managed to trace the owner of the nearby car,"
He pressed the remote again and a profile of Doc appeared. "His name is Doctor Emmett L. Brown, inventor and scientist. He's also said to be a real nutcase and gets a little crazy."

"And you want us to find out why he's behind this?" Potsie guessed.

"Correct, now for the mission. Potsie, you take Fonziebird 1 to Hill Valley, Ralph, you follow him in Fonziebird 2, take Richard and Chachi with you and you're going to have to take Fonziebird 4. You boys will be posing as journalists. Interview Dr Brown and ask him about his strange automobile. Good luck, boys." said Howard and pressed the remote, the boys went to Fonziebirds 1 and 2 right away.

In Hill Valley, California and at Doc's house

The boys got out of the Fonziebirds in their journalist outfits and walked over to the front door and Ralph rang the bell.

"I'll get it." said a voice behind the door. The door opened and 24 year old George McFly asked "Can I help you?"

"Oh man! It's a geek who thinks he's Elvis!" Potsie said in shock.

"Yeah, we're journalists from Popular Science for Kids and I was wondering is Doctor Brown in? We'd like to interview him." Ralph said.

"Um...Yeah, come in and make yourselves at home." George told the quartet.

They sat down at the living room while Geroge called for Doc. A minute later, he came out wearing a radiation suit.

"Can I help you, boys?" Doc asked.

"Yeah, we're journalists from Popular Science for Kids and we were wondering if we could ask you about your latest inventions." Richie said.

"Sure, right this way." He lead them to the garage.

Potsie said to George "Hey, does anyone in this town look like Elvis?"

In the garage, Doc showed them his inventions.

"And this is my sleep-induced alpha-rhythm generator, it makes people fall asleep instantly." Doc explained.

Chachi spotted a sliver car behind him and asked "Hey, what's that?"

"Nothing, nothing, just a DeLorean automobile!" Doc said worriedly.

"Why are there strange parts on it?" Ralph asked.

"I'm afraid you boys'll have to leave, it's time to test the Plutonium and I don't want you to get radiated!" Doc dragged the four International Rescue agents out.

"Hey! I'm not finished!" Potsie said as Doc closed the door. "That was rude."

"Well, guys, it looks like we've got a job to do." Richie said.

They got out of the Fonziebirds wearing their International Rescue uniforms and sneaked into Doc's garage and inspected the DeLorean.

"Wow," Ralph said. "There's strange parts inside too."

"It must be some kind of invention." Richie guessed.

"Let me sent Al some pictures, maybe he can help us." Chachi said as he took out his camera and called Howard on his watch.

"Hello, boys, how's the mission going?" Howard asked.

"We've got some strange parts inside the car, can you figure them out for us? I'll sent Al some pictures!" Chachi told Howard.

"Hmm.. Very strange," Howard told four of his five sons. "It seems that the DeLorean automobile is a..... "

"Someones coming. Quick, hide behind the seat." Richie alerted.

Then, Ralph, Chachi and Richie hid in the DeLorean while Potsie hid behind some boxes. Doc entered the garage. Suddenly, the garage door exploded, people in a black van came out and stormed the car. One of them covered the DeLorean with a giant net and dragged it away. George came in and asked "Hey, Doc, you doing experiments or something.....what the hell? Hey, you, stop!"

Potsie came out from his hiding spot and asked "Hey, George, you got a car or something?"

"Um...it's right in front of you." George threw his the keys to his car.

Potsie and Geroge all got in George's 1957 red cadillac and Potsie chased the van and as they got closer, a bright light appeared in front of them.

Chapter 2- Were Do We Go From Here?

Potsie slammed the brakes, he and George got out of the car and looked around. The road had a "No Parking" sign painted above it. Fonziebird 1 is nearby and George and Potsie looked at each other.

"Hey, George, where are we?" Potsie asked.

"It looks like we're in Hill Valley's East Side!" George answered.

"East Hill Valley? Are you nuts?" he asked again.

"Who and what are you anyway?" George changed the subject.

"I'm an agent for International Rescue and we're on a mission!" Potsie answered.

"The International Rescue?" Geogre asked Potsie.

"Excactly!" Potsie answered.

Somewhere off the coast of California, there was a small island. Ralph, Richie, Chachi and Doc were in somekind of glass cell in a building disguised as a mountain.

"So you invented a Time Machine out of a DeLorean?" Ralph asked.

"Yes, stainless steel is important flux dispersal. I wonder what they want with it?" Doc wondered.

"Chachi, have you got those bullet proof bracelets?" Richie asked.

"No, Dad gave them to Potsie this morning or an hours ago..." Chachi answered.

Ralph's watch vibrated and he answered it. It was Potsie. "Where are you guys?"

"We're in somekind of island." Ralph told him.

"Island?" George interrupted.

"According to my map, there's no such island." Potsie answered.

"Where are you?" Ralph asked.

"In the East Side of Hill Valley!" Potsie answered.

"Potsie, we'll call you later, someone's coming." Ralph quickly turned his watch off.

Potsie turned his watch off. "Great, how are we gonna find them?"

Suddenly a black plane flew right above and sucked George, Potsie and George's cadillac in it. Seconds later, they impacted on the luggage area.

Chpater 3- Enter The Candy Man

"Who are you and what do you want?" Potsie demandingly asked.

The small dark haired young man came out from the shadows, it was Fonzie. He had his International Rescue uniform and Howard was with him. "Potsie?" Fonzie said surprised. "You ain't changed one bit!"

"Sorry, Fonz, you scared the.." Potsie paused trying to think of a word. "..living crap out of me."

"Potsie, I'm glad Fonzie and I found you." Howard smiled.

"Um...Dad, Fonz, what's going on?"

"You see, your brothers and Dr Brown were kidnapped by the Candy Man." Howard explained.

"What?" George asked in disbelief.

"Al told me that Ralph, Richard and Chachi were hiding in the DeLorean time machine Dr Brown invented when it was stolen by the Candy Man himself and Dr Brown was kidnapped at the very same time as well."

Potsie paused for a moment, he realized how much Howard cared for him and his brothers. "Whoa, Dad, you...really love us."

Fonzie paused for a second and suddenly hugged Potsie. "Okay, Fonz, I was gone for an hour!" Potsie said as he tried to push Fonzie away. "By the way, if you're in here, who's up in Fonziebird 5?"

Fonzie said "I told Al to take over while I was with Dad and he agreed."

"Mr Tracy, are you telling me a fat bad guy called the Candy Man stole Dr Brown's time machine and kidnapped Potsie's younger brothers although they can be detected, we don't know the location." George told Howard.

"My boys watches still have the map of the world, I'll transfer the point to East Hill Valley." Howard took Potsie's watch and hooked it up to a giant computer. The screen showed a map of California and a part of the Pacific Ocean with a red light near LA. "They're in an unmarked island 45 miles off Los Angeles."

"We've gotta get there." Potsie told his father.

Back at the Island

The Candy Man with two guards at either his side entered the room, they were wearing black leather jackets, black pants, black boots, black hats, sunglasses and black berets.

"Good evening, Doctor Brown, boys. Nice to finally see you." the Candy Man said.

"Who are you and what do you want?" Doc asked.

The Candy Man walked over to Doc and said "You may not have heard of me but I'm the Candy Man and I want the secrets of your time machine as well as those of International Rescue!"

"The Candy Man, we know you, you're the guy who kidnapped Potsie in Maryland." Ralph figured.

"You'll never get away with this, Bucko! By the way, what are you exactly getting away with?" Richie asked as sweat drops came out from Doc, Ralph and Chachi.

"You see, when I arrived in Hill Valley, my plane was destroyed, along with the blueprints and parts so 4 weeks later, I decided to build another plane. Days later, discovered the DeLorean Time Machine so I decided to steal it and continue with my plan to change history including International Rescue, when I return to the future, I'll be worth millions....."

"Why do you need the DeLorean when you already had your own time portal once?" Chachi asked.

"That time machine is more convenient, compact and I just love cars, Charles!" the Candy Man explained.

"You can't do that," Doc snapped. "It will cause a major paradox, destroying the universe!"

"Don't worry, Dr Brown, once I put on this ring on your neck, you'll obey every command I tell you to. Men, take him out" the Candy Man said as he pulled Doc out of the cage leaving Ralph, Richie and Chachi alone.Then, his men took out Doc and they walk off.

Chapter 4- The Rescue

Somewhere above the island, Howard and Fonzie dropped George's red cadillac at a clearing with Potsie and George inside.

"Okay so now how are we gonna find them?" George asked.

"Don't worry. I'll just contact Ralph via his watch!" said Potsie and opened his watch to contact Ralph.

"Pots, where are you?" Ralph asked.

"We're on the island, where are you guys?" Potsie asked.

"Inside a mountain.." Ralph answered.

"Okay, I see it but how do we get in?" Potsie asked.

"Well, we got in through a door on top of the mountain." said Richie.

"Thanks, Rich, we'll get there as fast as my jet backpack can take."

Potise got out of the car and got in position to fly. But he didn't.

"What's wrong, Potsie?" George asked.

He checked his backpack "It's outta fuel, now who are we gonna get there?"

"Well we could drive." George suggested and looked at his red cadillac.

Back inside the mountain

Richie, Chachi and Ralph were left in the cell, the Candy Man came in with 2 other men wearing metal rings on their necks.

"Okay, Boys, get young Charles out." said the Candy Man.

"Hey, let go of me, you jerks!" Chachi said as the men grabbed him.

"Now hold still while I put this on you." He took out the metal ring from his and clipped it around Chachi's neck "There, now drive the DeLorean to the garage."

"F.O.N.Z, Sir."

They left the room leaving Richie and Ralph behind, meanwhile, Potsie and George finally reached the summit of the mountain.

"Man, this is tough!" George exclaimed.

"C'mon, Georgie Boy, just a few more to go!" Potsie encouraged.

"Man, you guys are tough for a group of teenagers." George commented.

Potsie helped George and went inside. After searching, they were finally inside the room where Ralph and Richie were. Potsie used his light saber laser to free his two redheaded brothers.

"Pots, we're glad to see you!" Ralph said.

"Um...Guys, where's Chachi?" Potsie asked.

"Oh, the Candy Man got him. They say that they were gonna drive the DeLorean to the garage." Richie explained.

"Well what are we waiting for?" George snapped. "Let's go to the garage!"

Outside the Garage. 2 guards were guarding the door.

"How are we gonna get past them?" Ralph asked.

"Hmm...What would Doc do?" George asked himself. "That's it!"

"What's it?" Potsie asked.

"There's a metal beam on top of the guards, if we could cut off the wires it will fall onto the guards knocking them off."

"Great idea, George but how are we suppose to cut the wires without the guards noticing?" Richie asked. Ralph, George and Potsie looked at Richie and he had that "Oh dear" look. "Me and my big mouth."

Using the suction cup gloves and shoes, Richie climbed up the wall. He got near the wire and cut it using his light saber laser.

"You heard that?" said one of the guards.

"Heard what?" the other guard said.

The guards looks up to see the beam drop directly on top of them. They screamed one more word before the beam hits them. "WHOA!" Richie climbed down from the wall.

"You look a lot tougher that you look, Rich." George stated.

"Ah, thanks, George." Richie said grinning.

Chapter 5- C'mon, Everybody

They got in the garage. Inside, There were 2 DeLoreans. One was Doc's time machine, while the other was a normal stock DMC - 12.

"Great, everything looks great, are you ready to replicate it, Doctor?" the Candy Man asked Doc.

"Yes, Candy Man!" said Doc and takes some metal pieces.

"Charles," the Candy Man shouted at Chachi "Guard the DeLoreans, we don't want anyone to destroy it."

"Not if I can help it!" Potsie shouted.

"Warren, nice to see you again." the Candy Man greeted.

"Look, Buddy, I'm not gonna be your lackey."

"Guards, stop them!" the Candy Man shouted.

The guards came out and were headed towards Geroge, Richie, Ralph and Potsie. They kicked and punched the guards until they were knocked out.

"That's all you got?" George asked.

"No, but I bet it's hard to hurt your new friend. Charles, Get them."

Chachi ran towards Potsie and attacked him. Potsie pushed away. Meanwhile, the Candy Man got in the DeLorean time machine and input JAN 01 2065 0600 in the Destination time panel.

"Um...Guys, a little help here!" Potsie shouted.

"We're coming." Ralph answered and went to Chachi with Richie. Richie touched the ring on Chachi's neck but it gave out an electric shock.

"Rich, are you Okay?" George asked.

"He's gonna rest for a while!" Ralph answered as Richie passed out.

George looked behind him and spotted dials and buttons on the wall. He quickly pushed them and suddenly all metal items, guards and Chachi began to stick to the walls. George pushed the button again and everything fell.

"Aww..Man, what happed?" Chachi asked himself.

"Are you okay, Chach?" Ralph asked.

"Was I brainwashed or something?" Chachi asked.

"Yeah!!!" Richie, George, Potsie and Ralph all sighed together.

"Guys, C'mon," George said and helpped Richie up. "The fat guy's getting away!"

Chapter 6- A Wild Goose Chase

George, Howard and the boys all got out of the mountain and got into Fonziebirds 1 & 2 right behind the Candy Man's tail.

"I guess magnets can deactivate that thing, Chachi." said Howard to his youngest son and removed the ring from Chachi's neck.

"Okay so now what?" Potsie said as he put Fonziebird 1 in 3rd gear.

"We've gotta stop the car before it hits 88MPH!" George said.

"Why?" Chachi asked.

"It's a time machine. It only travels through time at 88. If it goes 88, it will travel through time and we might lost him, forever!" George explained.

"Richard, you take Fonziebird 4, Chachi, follow me, Ralph, try to keep Fonziebird 2 steady while we jump onto the time machine." Howard ordered.

"F.O.N.Z, Dad!" Ralph said.

"I can do this if only Fonziebird 1 wasn't at a slow rate." Potsie complained and shifted it to 4th gear.

Howard and Chachi climbed onto the roof while Fonziebirds 1 & 2 flew beside the DeLorean. George signaled that everything was in place from Fonziebird 1. Chachi and Howard jumped onto the DeLorean.

"Tracys on my soon to be DeLorean, what am I gonna do now?" the Candy Man said to himself. He looked around and saw a leaver on the dashboard with the words "HOVER MODE" on it "What an idiot I am! This thing is hover converted! I hate being arrested and caught by International Rescue." he said to himself and pulled the leaver.

The DeLorean lifted off the ground with a jerk. Chachi lost his balance and slipped but hung onto the wires.

"Hang on, Chach!" Ralph shouted from Fonziebird 2 and got it under the DeLorean.

Chachi fell and landed on the roof of Fonziebird 2 on his butt first.

"That's gonna leave a mark." Richie commented.

Suddenly, Fonziebird 2 jerked. Something hit them. George looked behind and saw Doc bumping them with the other DeLorean. Howard climbed inside.

"Ow, my butt hurts, sorry about your car, George." Chachi said.

"Um... yeah." George said as he looked at the dent.

"Where the heck's Pod 4?" Ralph asked.

"Pod 4?" George and Chachi asked.

"It's not working for another 5 seconds!" Richie answered while repeatedly tugging at the lever to open Pod 4 where Fonziebird 4 was. "Okay, I take back what I say about you, please slow down!"

"And we're heading towards a cliff." Fonzie pointed out.

"The DeLorean's gone into the Hill Valley river, I'm taking Fonziebird 4!" Richie told Ralph.

Chapter 7- The Rest Is F.O.N.Z

Ralph opened Pod2 on Fonziebird 2 allowing Richie to dive in Fonziebird 4. It reached the edge of the fake DeLorean as it fell into the cold dark water.

"There goes one brave guy." George cried.

"Look out, George!" Potsie shouted and pushed George away.

"You saved my life!" George said and Potsie looked at George greatfully. "You okay?"

Potsie said calmly. "Yeah."

Fonziebird 4 followed The Candy Man's DeLorean into the water. Using the expandable cable bungee belt, Ralph and Potsie clipped it on a tree and pulled the DeLorean out if the water as soon as Fonziebird 4 popped out of the river. George opened the door and pulled Doc out of the car. Meanwhile, Howard and Chachi managed to hold on and open the door of the DeLorean time machine.

"You're too late, Charles." said the Candy Man.

"What are you talking about?" Chachi asked.

"When this DeLorean hits 88 miles per hour, you're going to see some serious action." said the Candy Man and pointed to the speedometer.

"88 Miles per hour?" Richie realized.

The speedometer read 85 MPH. Howard grabbed the wheel and tried to step on the brakes. The DeLorean began to let off blue flashes and sparks. Meanwhile. Doc woke up.

"George, Howard, Charles, Richard, Ralph, Warren, Arthur? What the hell happened?" Doc asked weakly.

"Man, Doc, we thought you were dead!" said George and helped his friend up.

Back at the DeLorean heading towards the ocean at 87 MPH, Howard still struggled to get the car onto the island, he spotted the leaver with the words "HOVER MODE" and pulled it down. The DeLorean's wheels folded down and lands on the ground. The Candy Man came out and Potsie, Richie, Ralph and Chachi chased him while Fonzie and Howard drove the DeLorean infront of the Candy Man to block him, Potsie jumped on him. Suddenly, FONZ1 landed in front of them. Tom, Lori Beth, Joanie, Marion and Al all came out of it and arrested the Candy Man. Howard and Fonzie got out of the car.

"What happened?" Lori Beth said in disbelieve.

"Good work, team, we'll take it from here." Fonzie said.

"We thought you guys were gone forever." Joanie told the Tracys.

"While you were gone, I quickly recruited Tom and Lori Beth, Mr Tracy." Al explained.

"What exactly is going on here?" Howard asked.

"We thought you guys were missing. But Al told me that Mr Tracy and Mr Arthur found Mr Warren and Al told me that you were in East Los Angeles. When a person travels through time, his future self will disappears unless he returns to the same time he left" Marion explained.

"Well, it looks like we're going home." said Doc.

"F.O.N.Z." Richie, Chachi, Ralph, Potsie, Lori Beth, Joanie and George said alltogether.

"Fonziebirds are go." Howard announced.

"Viya con dios!" Tom said and got in FONZ1 with Lori Beth.

It was raining, Howard and Al were searching for Ralph, Richie, Chachi and Potsie.

"Do you still have sight of them, Al?" Howard asked Al.

"Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep." Al said nodding his head.

"Where are they?" Howard said in excitement and ran towards the keyborad. As soon as the arrived in Howard's office, Richie, Ralph, Potsie and Fonzie ran towards Howard and they did a group hug.

"Guys, you're safe! What happened to you?" asked Al.

"Well, Al, we just gave the Candy Man a butt kicking." said Potsie who then looked at Howard. "Dad, did you just cry?"

"Um.." Howard wiped the tear away. "Congratulations, boys, we'll take it from here."

The boys looked behind them to see the Candy Man being handcuffed and lead to a Hill Valley Police car. "Hey, Chief, what are you doing?" Chachi asked.

"Well, you guys finally caught him." Police Chief Catherine Charles said.

"Okay, Chief, the Candy Man's....a little hard to explain." Richie said.

"But Dr Brown invented a time machine, while traveling through time, booms sounded during the arrival and departure. He didn't hurt anyone." Ralph explained.

"Oh and Dad, he's George Martin McFly. He helped us with the case" Potsie introduced.

"Nice to meet you, George, I'm Howard Tracy, head of International Rescue." Howard said as he shook George's hand.

"Heyyyyy, Dad, how making him an IR agent, he's real cool." Fonzie said from the VidCOM.

"Please, Dad, please." Richie, Potsie, Ralph and Chachi all begged.

"And he's really kinda Okay for a nerd." Potsie added.

"Well, I have to ask him. Do you want to be an International Rescue agent, George?" Howard asked.

"No thanks, Mr Tracy. I've had enough action for one day, or 19 years." George rejected.

"That's Okay, George, we're not forcing you."

"Oh thanks." George said and looked at his watch "Oh man! I'm gonna be late for my date with Lorainne!"

"Lemme handle that." Potsie said.

They arrived at a concert, Lorainne was waiting for George whlie Leather Tuscadero and the Suedes were performing.

"And now presenting Leather and the Suedes!" said the presenter as the curtains opened causing Lorainne to ask herself "Where is George?"

Fonziebird 1 flew on top of the stage and lets down a rope, George climbed down from it. The crowd cheered.

"Thank you very much, I'd like to thank you for waiting, but I wouldn't be here without an orginisation called International Rescue, baby. This song I'm about to perform is an oldie, hope you guys like it." said Leather to the crowd.

She began to sing 'All Shook Up'. Potsie's heart began to melt as Leather began to sing.

Leather and the Suedes left and the presenter came out saying "Okay, Cats and chicks, that's our final performance for tonight and now for our battles of the bands competiton, in 3rd place...."

"Wow, Pots, Leather's pretty good." Ralph stated.

"She's even better than Wanda Jackson!" Potsie added.

"...In 1st place, Leather Tuscadero & the Suedes!"

Leather and her band came out from the backstage and received the trophy and a giant cheque.

A week later, Chachi, Richie, Ralph and Potsie were walking and passes by a poster which says "Win a DeLorean Automobile". It reminded them of last week's mission.

"George pulled you out yesterday. What happened when you spoke to Leather, Potsie?" Richie asked.

"She found out that I had a crush on her and told me that she's going steady with Johnny Bravo. But she really likes us a lot." Potsie explained.

"That's that 21 year old Californian rock 'n' roll singer that looks like Elvis." Ralph said.

"No way, like I say maybe they're other..." Someone bumped into Potsie.

"Oh miss, I'm so sorry" a girl with hair the same color as Potsie's own with dark eyes said and helped picked the bags Potsie dropped.

"Thats...." Potsie looked up and saw that the girl had a Sotuhern accent to her voice. "Okay."

The girl stared back "My name's Jennifer, Jennifer Jerome, what's yours?"

"Warren Scott Tracy but you can call me Potsie, everyone else does."
