It's getting a bit stale.

Better luck next time Jason.

I caught the episode on 10/4 and it was ok, bland basically.

Then:

I watched 2 minutes of the show last night and as soon as the daughter acted pissy and embarrassed- again- and Jason Alexander complained that he and his daughter used to be so close- AGAIN- I turned it off and I will never watch the show AGAIN.

Because they are harping on the cliche over and over- I mean 2 episodes in a row where he basically complains about the same thing- his daughter doesnt want to hang out with him.

I can almost swear he said the exact same line, something like "I don't understand, we used to be pals"
Come on, 2 episodes in a row?

And that means it is going to be a running theme throughout the show. As TJL said, haven't we've had enough of that pissy daughter who is embarrassed by her family?

Plus, the show is just not very funny.

I agree. The SEINFELD curse continues. Jason Alexander is in another bomb...wait, I take that back...bombs go off, this just goes on and on. If it wasn't sandwiched between STILL STANDING and RAYMOND, it would've been the season's first casualty. BRING BACK "YES, DEAR!!!"

Hell, bring back "Bob Patterson." Seeing Jason Alexander taking a dump or having an ill-timed erection are starting to seem mighty appealing all of a sudden.

Cool

The premise of the show has good comedy potential. Unfortunately the show is very poorly written. The dialogue is juvenile. A talented cast is wasted on this lousey material!

Cool Listen Up

I love the show cause it carries over George's zany Seinfield personality. I'm not sure it'll be on much longer as last show was already a rerun after only 3 or 4 shows. I am looking forward to Seinfield on dvd in November!
Be Blessed!
