I could have sworn, John Goodman's character was being called "Dan" for the first 10 minutes of the show?

I remeber telling my wife it was odd to call him the same name that he had on Roseanne, and she agreed saying she was thinking that also.

Then about half way in they started calling him John?

Did any catch this?

She calls him "John" twice in the teaser scene: When he sticks the knife in the VCR (the first word spoken in the episode) and again after he gives her the ring. The closed-captioning also writes it as "John."
