Default I think the pilot of Sanford Arms should be the last episode on Disc 3 of the 6th

season set because it really is the real ending to the Sanford and Son series. When watching the pilot of Sanford Arms that started in 1977, viewers find out

1.Fred and Lamont moved to Arizona

2.Grady and Dolly got married

3.Woody passed away

So to me the spinoff-"sanford arms" wraps up the 6 seasons of sanford and son and starts a new era in the Sanford and Son neighborhood. I think it would be cool to include Sanford Arms as an extra on the season 6th release.

Woody passed away? Did they mention how the character died or what?

Correction, Woody was on Sanford Arms, it was mentioned that he passed away on Sanford. How he died was not mentioned.

Oh, okay. I NEVER caught an episode of the Sanford Arms, so I don't know if it was good or not. Your post inspired me to do some checking up on it on the internet, and the reviews were pretty bad. I DID look up Redd Foxx's show "Sanford" from 1980, and that one seemed like it would be worth watching. The episodes I read about on TvTome seemed interesting and possibly hilarious. Wish they'd put SANFORD out on DVD or re-run it somewhere. Oh, well . . .

I actually thought Sanford Arms was pretty good. I received 4 episodes and after watching 4, i wanted to see more. 8 eps of Sanford Arms was produced but only 4 was aired by NBC in 1977. I think the other 4 may be out there some where ion the tape trading world. I LOVE SANFORD!!!!!!!. I taped eps when it was in sydication in 1990.

Did Raymond Allen pass in real life? I looked on IMDB.com and it didn't list him dying.
