Good point, DJM. While Cheers is my favorite show of all time, I do think for a network that's on less than half the day, they really play it too much. I'd be happy with two episodes a night.
I have no problem with them shifting their demographic a bit (hence, getting rid of pre-'70s sitcoms), but they could at least have the same amount of variety they used to. I'd have no problem with that at all. I'm sure DJM, myself, and the rest of the Cheers fans of the world would like to see the episodes shown everynight cut in half. Speaking of cut in half, they DID skip a lot of Cheers episodes... the entire eleven-year run from October to January? Even with two episodes a night, that's a lot of episodes skipped. |
