Default Did the addition of Former Harlem Globetrotter-Meadowlark in the 1979-80 season add

any laughs to the show? I actually enjoyed Meadowlark when he guest starred on Different Strokes with the rest of the Hello Larry cast.

i thought he was a great addition, but i dont think ANYTHING could've saved the show by that point

im not sure the only thing i can think of was that the second hlaf of charles angels was on abc but that theory doesent really hold water because if you didnt see the first hlaf you were lost as to what the story was about i personally loved hello larry

He was very, very funny and too bad that he didn't get too improve his talents as much and/or worse, didn't get his own show!!

i honestly don know; i liked it MORE than DS, and i couldn't understand why it got cancelled, and yet DS got dumber and dumber, and kept on going and going and going...

when i watched the shows in their original airings, i never thought about what spun off of what; i always considered all the shows on each network to be in the same "universe", and if the crossed-over in any way, it was just a bonus

I rember watching this show when i was younger . I just wish tvland or nike@nite would put this show on alone with just the ten of us , perfect strangers and mork& mindy
