Gladys Knight starred in a sitcom several years ago and I can't remember the name. Anybody?

The only show I can find that fits is Charlie & Co. from 1985. Gladys Knight played Diana Richmond, the series centered around the Richmond family...that sound right?

That must be it! It was telecast 1985-86.(I looked it up on Imdb.com) Interestingly one of the supporting cast members was Jaleel White(Urkel)

I don't remember the series very well but I happened to see Gladys Knight on VH1 today and that brought it to mind!

I remember that show. It was on CBS, and was supossed to be a carbon copy of "The Cosby show"-which was getting HUGE ratings on NBC at the time.
