Man, I remember when WGN used to be cool. I used to watch Bozo on Sundays, along with Kids WB! (im pretty sure they showed it) but most importantly, they used to air Webster and Charles in Charge, I watched it every day after i came home from school. But recent years, theyve been a freakin RIPOFF of TBS!! They even call themselves: WGN...SUPERSTATION! its really annoying. Plus, they show the EXACT SAME shows as TBS: Fresh Prince, Full House, and Family Matters. Once, both channels were showin the EXACT SAME ep. of Full House on the EXACT SAME DAY! WGN needs to get their act together and be what they used to be, stop being a copycat and be themselves!

That's probably what led to my cable company dropping it a few years back. I was cool in the 80s when we were kids, but it went downhill fast. BTW Bozo used to be on every morning back in the 80s. I remember my cousin used to watch it every morning.

One thing that really affected WGN is when the FCC came up with that syndication rule. The rule was that local stations have exclusive rights to air shows in syndication. This made it so WGN had to air shows that wouldn't conflict with what a lot of the local stations were showing. Like in the late '80's and very early '90's, you could see Cheers on WGN. After the FCC did their thing, popular and not mention good shows were banished from WGN. Eventually, as we all know, WGN split into 2 different stations. One that shows WB programs and good, popular syndicated sitcoms. And the other, which shows Family Matters, Fresh Prince, and Chuck Norris movies.
