Hi,
I am new to this board and am happy to have found such a devoted fan following to in my opinion one of the funniest television shows ever to hit the airwaves. I was curious as to the group's thoughts on the thankfully short-lived "704 Hauser Street." This was the sitcom that starred former Good Times dad , John Amos, as the new resident of Archie's old house. In the pilot a grown up and annoying Joey returned to visit his grandfather's former residence. To me seeing a new family in Archie's place was just too much to bear. j/k But most of all this was a poorly written, acted, and carried out series; what are your thoughts? |

I saw the first episode of that show, just for the references to the former residents.I felt this program was just an attempt to carry on something that is best left to rerun-heaven, where it thrives to this day!

I agree that it was pretty bad. I would have liked to have found out what happened to Archie, though. He obviously moved out, but was he still running the bar? They never said.
