Default Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen dropped from milk ads

Mary Kate and Ashely Olsen was droped from the milk ads. The milk ads company did not want to pick up the ads with Mary Kate after they discoverd her problem.

That's very sad. I have the only milk ad that featured Mary-Kate & Ashley in one of the magazines.

Can you blame the people in charge of the ads?... Mary-Kate at this time isn't a perfect example of a healthy milk-drinking person.

LOL!!! It's kind of sad they were dropped- but really, milk is a very wholesome, healthy teeth 'n' bones, happy sort of drink (I can't believe I'm analysing milk and what it implies)- so I can see why they were dropped.

It may just be me, but considering the girls just turned 18, unless the people targeted by the advert are in their 20's/30's- having Mary Kate and Ashley wearing milk moustaches with the phrase 'Got Milk' doesn't sound like a very 'wholesome' thing to do.

Have any of you noticed how 'Olsen' and 'Wholesome' sound similar? Hmmm- the secret to their success!

I didn't mean to offend. Just I've heard so many jokes about them in movie magazine articles and online (aicn.com especially)- that it made me realise how many ppl think like that. Sorry....

Reminds me of a photo I saw of Monica Lewinsky with a milk mustache with the caption Got Clinton.

Never saw that photo- but I'm not surprised. I was quite young when the Clinton scandal happened- but I remember practically every comedy show could fuel a 30 minute timeslot with nothing but Lewinsky jokes! That's when you know you've had some impact- the sketch shows won't lay off.

Actually cows milk is designed to turn a 50 pound calf into a 1000 pound cow in 2 years. That'll do some weird stuff in the human body, resulting in the physique of your typical adult in the western world. Adult advocates of milk always look the part. The more dairy protein you consume, the more calcium you require. Very sad that they get away with marketing dairy to children. And we think people who fly planes into buildings once every hundred years are evil. Go figure.

I can't believe we're talking about milk!

Did u hear what Mary-Kate said when they were signed up?

"We want our fans to be healthy like us!"

Wow. Just, wow. I'm not sure what to make of that statement except that I cannot even comprehend that sort of comparison...

In response to the actual thread, I don't blame the company, clearly Mary-Kate isn't the image they want.

I'm lactose intolerant, so yeah, I don't got milk...

Wow. I agree. That's an awful thing to say. I'm surprised it took a week for someone to catch it.
