I couldn't even get into watching this show, so I changed the channel. This type of show is something that we all have seen time and time again. The brainy sister, the sister that hangs with the cool girls at school, the brother that hangs with the cool guys at school, school parties, etc., etc.

The show was ok. I'm not sure if I'm going to watch it agian. It seems like a show I might watch if I'm not doing anything.

The show is not going to last much if it has the ratings it did for episode one last night:

"Quintuplets," 4.5/8, which was down from the 5.1/10 from its lead-in.

I haven't seen a show as bad as Quintuplets since The Pitts and Charlie Lawrence. The only redeeming quality was Andy Richter and even he couldn't carry the show. Nine out of ten jokes fell flat, the premiere was rushed, full of cliches, and not very entertaining.

I for one won't be tuning in again for next episode. And it's too bad, Andy Richter was fantastic in Andy Richter Controls The Universe.

I was a bit disappointed. I thought it was going to be funnier. I'll give it at least two more episodes before I decide if I really like it or not. At least it's not another reality show though.

I'm still mad at FOX for cancelling Andy Richter Controls the Universe. That show had such potential.

You can say that again. I still laugh at some of the jokes when they run through my head. I loved that show.

The show reminded me of 8 Simple Rules before Ritter's death...the stereotypical teenagers are terribly unfunny and the parents are the only ones that bring the few laughs the show has to offer.

It's sad to see Andy go from Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter Controls the Universe to this.

It's like that because real people are like that.(and I use that phrase flexibly) I like the show. I've seen three eps so far, all of them made me laugh really hard.(the fourth one's my favorite.)

It's no ARCtU but you can't compare it to the travesty that was "The Pitts" (and it truely was the pitts)

I couldn't sit through more than five minutes of the pilot episode, which was filled with cliches and one-liners. Basically one after the other.

When we were in Los Angeles a few weeks ago we went to a taping of Quintuplets, basically because it was one of the few shows taping during June. This episode ("The Helbergs," which airs this coming Wednesday the 14th) wasn't too bad at all really. It had some pretty good jokes (unless, of course, it's just funnier in person) and the guest appearance by Dan Butler (Bulldog of Frasier) *definitely* helped a lot. He was hysterical.

All in all, it wasn't a bad episode and I'll be interested to see which versions of scenes they used and which they didn't. All of the actors seemed very personable and nice - we passed Andy Richter on the lot afterwards and he thanked everyone for coming, shook hands, etc...

The girl who plays the blonde, Paige, however, is, in my opinion, a really bad actress. Between every take she'd have her assisstant or whatever bring her her robe, even though its so hot under those lights. We walked past her afterwards too and she totally snubbed everyone. She seemed to be so caught up in the "Hollywood" thing when she really isn't established at all yet. O well...

Just my few cents about the show. I have a feeling it'll be cancelled, but Andy Richter really deserves a big hit.

Sitcom lights are not hot. Sitcom sets are usually very cold. Crew members are often seen wearing jackets or even coats. It is very common for a member of the wardrobe department to give an actor or actress a robe or sweater between scenes. Many actors new to actting in live shows, take awhile to become comfortable and at first just act like the audiance is not there.

I guess I'm just used to the theatre where the lights on stage are SO HOT.

But when we were taking the tour of Warner Brothers the tour guide told us that they pump air conditioning into the soundstage to kind of counter-act the heat given off by the lights... Is the AC *that* strong so that its cold even down on the stage under all those lights?
