Default Do you think it's surprising that the spinoff Sanford Arms was never given a chance

by the viewers who all watched S&S for 5 years? I would think the first episode of Sanford Arms would have good ratings just so everyone could see how Aunt Esther would be in her own show. I just find it surprising S&S fans gave up on the show after only 30 days.

Dude - no offense, but it absolutely paled in comparison to the original. Same goes for "AfterMASH" & "Archie Bunker's Place."

Basically, all were failed attempts to capture some of the old glory, so to speak...

I have never seen the program; but I heard it was terrible that people would rather sit and watch the traffic go by...

But since S&S fans watched Lawanda Page for 4 years, i would think they would have atleast given the show a chance.

I think lots of people watched Sanford Arms as Sanford and Son without Fred and Lamont instead of just watcing it as a NEW Show.

Probably, and were disapointed when they realize that neither character was going to be on the show; honestly, I do not think that LaWanda Page could carry a program on her own; she was only funny when she was interacting with Fred...
