I really enjoyed the season opener. They gave Lisa quite a send-off, and Nate crying at the end after burying her was just heartbreaking. I was wondering how they were going to work in that 30-year old death shown in the opener, and we sure found out.
Claire is always fun, and I love her one-liners. Great to see Brenda back in full force. She looks good, gained a little weight. David and Keith finally stopped being the Bickersons which was a nice change. Mom and George were rather frisky as the honeymooners. Great episode. They really develop their characters. Lot of heart in this show. |

I'd read that the closing scene would be difficult to watch, and it was. That's probably the bravest and most loving thing Nate has done in his entire life.
Brenda's weight gain is due to Rachel's recent baby. At least the writers didn't try to work it into the story. Life happens, and viewers understand. I agree -- she looks great.I'm not entirely optimistic about David and Keith maintaining their renewed bliss, but I guess we'll see. As for Ruth and George, good for them. I hope he doesn't turn out to be a bad guy, but the foreshadowing indicates trouble (perhaps a disturbing revelation about his past?) in the weeks ahead. It was a nice little twist in the "opening dead person" element to have it be a long-past client (if that's the appropriate term) eventually factoring into the main story. It was an excellent episode. I hope the rest of the season goes on to meet that standard. |

I'm really looking forward to everything they have in store for us this season.
Concerning Brenda, I hear we're to see much more of her which I'm very happy about. Not so sure about George but.. I suppose he could turn around and actually be a pretty decent guy. Let's hope. And as far as David and Keith go, I so want these two to work out - as I always have, though I've been at the point where I just wanted them to split and be done with it all. That is, until I watched last season's final episode. Really pulling for those two.. again. I want Nate to be happy.. I mean, really and truly happy. He deserves it. Can't wait to see what happens with Federico, by the way! |

I just watched it, it was a pretty good episode. I knew Nate was going to take the body, you could just see it coming. That was a strong, emotional scene at the end.
I hope Claire watches her back, I feel like some day soon Russell is gonna come around stalking her with an ax. Rico was funny when he was attempting to confess, and so was Arthur in the short scene he was in. Keith and David: there's always gonna be some conflict, trust me, something's gonna happen before the season is up where they won't be such a happy, carefree couple. I also wondered how the psychedelic death scene at the beginning would work its' way into the story; it was clever how they did it. That was a very good season premiere. |
