Default All of FOX's Best Shows Are Short Lived

ARCTU has now been added to that list. But all the shows I've watched on FOX were short lived.

Get a Life (1990-92) 35 episodes
Ned & Stacey (1995-97) 46 episodes
The Tick (2001) 9 episodes

It's like FOX doesn't know what to do when it has a good show, so it freaks and cancels it. FOX's one rule is "We shall have no classic TV on our station."

FOX SUCKS ! ! !

I would like to add "Undeclared" to the list.
A very funny show. I wish it had caught on.

I've never seen that show before, but I have heard good things about it. FOX is squeezing every last drop of life out of The Simpsons (no offense Snoopy). Why don't they just air these newer shows that they cancelled instead of a cartoon that's been on since 1989. I grew up to that show.

Just for the record: I'm not so much against the newer FOX shows that are still on (Except Reality Shows), I just think ARCTU was the best show FOX had and I resent the other shows for being successful.

Tell me about it. I like the Simpsons, but c'mon, FOX had two great animated shows, in Family Guy and Futurama and they were treated like dirt. The Simpsons are not nearly as funny as it used to be, but it's untouchable.

Same thing with "Malcolm In The Middle." That show is the gold standard at FOX, but "Andy Richter" was better.

Okay "Malcolm" fans, fire away...

I was never a fan of "Malcolm in the Middle". I can't believe how well it's been doing. I have seen some episodes, and I agree that Andy Richter was better. I also just got into Futurama. It's a great show. Much better than The Simpsons. Now I have nothing against The Simpsons, other than it's been on way too long. There was a time when that show was the best. It's just, that time is not now.

Here's how their Sunday Nights Should Look Like:
8:00 - Family Guy
8:30 - Futurama
9:00 - Andy Richter Controls the Universe
9:30 - Bernie Mac

Just do away with the whole 7:00 hour. Since they treat that hour like dirt anyways. The only good thing about 'Oliver Beene' getting renewed is that it will get treated like dirt next season.
My lineup moves King of the Hill to another night. I like that show, but think it doesn't exactly go along with the other shows listed above.

I think Titus should be added to FOX's list of good, but cancelled shows. Every episode was "a very special episode", but they were funny. Anywho, Andy will be missed.

As much as I love The Simpsons, I think it's about time to close up shop and give other shows a chance. It's still funnier than just about anything else that's on TV though.

OT- I do hope FOX never cancels America's Most Wanted. I don't watch regularly, but it does get criminals off the street.

I agree ARCTU should've gotten more respect.

But FOX finally seems to have put some faith in a ratings disgrace -- Arrested Development.

I recommend it to anybody, especially fans of ARCTU, knowing that you like smart AND funny shows.
